WHAT IS THE MISSION OF ATG?

American Theater Group produces new and classic works, primarily by American Playwrights, with an emphasis on the development of new works and the rediscovery of undeservedly neglected older ones. American Theater Group enlivens the lives of its audiences by making theater’s glorious possibilities accessible to the diverse community in which we live through heartfelt, inspiring performances as well as quality arts-in-education programming that nurtures and inspires the next generation of theater artists and audiences.

I’D LIKE TO AUDITION FOR UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS—HOW DO I SEND MY RESUME? 

All ATG productions are cast by our casting office, Michael Cassara Casting.  They can be reached via email at submissions@michaelcassara.net; please do not call their office, but feel free to send a picture/resume via email — and feel free to note if you are based in New Jersey, although we tend to cast our productions with actors from throughout the NYC tri-state area.

WHERE DOES ATG PERFORM?

ATG performs its main stage productions to life at the new, state-of-the-art Mitchell and Ann Sieminski Theater, located at the Cultural Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ as well as UCPAC’s Hamilton Stage in Rahway.

Please email Pandora Scooter to learn about the application process for the ATG PlayLab. Please note that we will not be accepting any new applications for the program at this time, but please check back regularly.

I AM A PLAYWRIGHT AND WOULD LIKE ATG TO CONSIDER MY SCRIPT FOR A READING SERIES EVENT OR MAINSTAGE PRODUTION. WHO SHOULD I CONTACT? 

Due to staffing limitations, ATG is not able to accept unsolicited scripts.

I HAVE A MARKETING INQUIRY FOR ATG, OR AM A JOURNALIST INTERESTED IN AN INTERVIEW OR REVIEWING AN UPCOMING PRODUCTION. WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?
